Gokarna is on the Western coast of India which is about 484 km’s from Bangalore. Located within the Kumta taluk of Uttara Karnataka, the most deity is Lord Shiva, also referred to as Mahabaleshwar. This temple houses what’s believed to be an ingenious image of Lord Shiva’s lingam (Atmalinga).

Itinerary for your awesome trip:
Depart for Gokarna: you’ll begin your journey from Bangalore within the late evening after learning about trek participants from various pick-up locations. you’ll be covering 500 km to succeed in Gokarna overnight and therefore the aim is to succeed on time.
The Gokarna Beach Trek: If you look outside your window, you’ll spot salt farms within the near distance. This suggests that we are now just minutes far away from our destination. Around 23 km from your cottage is Mirjan Fort. You can start the day by taking a bus ride to the fort. Known for its architectural elegance, Mirjan Fort was the location of several battles within the past. The port at Mirjan was used for shipping pepper, saltpetre, and areca nut to Surat.
We then head straight to Vibhooti Falls, a little waterfall near Yana, about 50 km from Sirsi North Kanara, Western Ghats. The picturesque drop of water amidst the luxurious forest leaves one in awe of the wonders of nature.
